PROTECTING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
With so much information being circulated about the best ways to protect ourselves and our families, it can feel a bit overwhelming. There is still much we don’t know about COVID-19, but we do know that it is extremely contagious. The best way to take back control of our lives is to stop the spread, and to stop the spread we must isolate ourselves as much as possible. We have compiled a list of basic guidance below with links to further resources.
PROTECTIVE GUIDANCE
Continue to social distance and follow CDC guidelines. Remember, you can spread the virus even if you do not have symptoms.
If you are going out or have to go back to work, wear a mask and continue to follow social distancing protocol as much as possible. It is still essential to take all possible safety precautions despite the loosening of government mandated restrictions. When possible, stay home and avoid large gatherings.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Sing a full chorus of happy birthday! Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. Avoid touching your face.
Cover any coughs or sneezes with your elbow, do not use your hands.
Wear a mask if you must leave your house. Even a cloth or surgical mask is better than nothing.
